Gerald grew up in the UK and has lived in Asia for 20 years. He has an M.A. from Oxford University, is a Chartered Accountant, and has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry.

 

Gerald moved to Hong Kong with Fidelity International in 1989 to bring an enhanced level of financial controls and reporting to its Hong Kong operation.

 

During his time as CFO of Fidelity Asia, he reformed the internal staff pension schemes, introduced multi-currency dealing into unit trusts and mutual funds, set up the Fidelity operation in Singapore and set up the operating procedures for the first Fidelity mutual fund launched solely for the Hong Kong market.

 

Gerald retired from Fidelity in 2007 and joined Allard Partners as a consultant to oversee our operational and compliance functions. In 2009 he was appointed to the Board of Allard Partners companies in Hong Kong and Sydney.
