Gerald grew up in the U.K. and has lived in Asia for over 20 years. Gerald holds a M.A. in Chemistry from Oxford University, England. He subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant (F.C.A).

 

Gerald has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry in the U.K., Bermuda, and Hong Kong.

 

He has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1989, from 1991 to 2007 as Regional CFO for Fidelity International's Asian businesses. During his time as CFO of Fidelity Asia, he reformed the internal staff pension schemes, introduced multi-currency dealing into unit trusts and mutual funds, set up the Fidelity operation in Singapore and set up the operating procedures for the first Fidelity mutual fund launched solely for the Hong Kong market.

 

Gerald retired from Fidelity International in 2007 and subsequently joined Allard Partners in Hong Kong to oversee the Group's operational, compliance, and finance functions.

 

He was appointed a director of Allard Partners in 2009.
