Michael Norman Nock – Non-executive Director
Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of New South Wales and BFA/MFA Degrees from the California Institute of the Arts.
In 1983, after three years with Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong, Michael established a partnership with the E.D. & F Man Group of London to build an Asian financial services company that was involved in securities, venture capital and corporate finance. This business became a public company in 1987 and was successfully divested in 1990.
Michael then spent five years in the U.S, where he studied film/video/multi-media and established a digital, multi-media technology business. He returned to Hong Kong in 1995 to head the investment activities of the public holding company Mingly Corporation and in 1998 established his own investment group, Doric Capital Corporation.
With over 20 years experience as a securities analyst, Michael became a Director of Allard Partners in 2000.
