Gary Linford – Non-Executive Director 

 

Gary Linford, born 1964, has worked for over 23 years in the banking and offshore funds industries in Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean.  Gary is the founder and Managing Director of HighWater, previously DirectorsPlus Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of HighWater Partners Limited, previously DMTC Group Limited. As the former Head of the Investment & Securities Division of CIMA, Gary developed extensive regulatory and oversight experience of hedge funds, fund administrators, and investment managers during a period of unprecedented growth in the global hedge fund industry.  Prior to joining CIMA, Gary was the Global Head of Banking & Investments at Deutsche Bank International Limited based in Jersey, Channel Islands, where, at the time, he was directly responsible for the $5 billion treasury desk and the $15 billion investment services division.  Gary Linford has a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.  He is a member of AIMA and was instrumental in the establishment of the AIMA Cayman Chapter.
