William Sharp – Non-executive Director

Bill has an honours degree in Politics, Asian Studies and Languages from the Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Distribution and Logistics Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Transport.

He has spent the last 25 years focusing on foreign investment and trade in the China region and leveraging his fluent Mandarin – one of his many foreign language skills, which include French, Italian and German.

In his role as New Zealand’s senior trade representative for China, based in Beijing, Bill built up many lasting relationships and an invaluable practical understanding of China business and opportunities.
Bill has been associated with Allard Partners since 1996.

Located in Hong Kong, his business focus, as the principal of Allard Sharp Asia Limited, is on mergers and acquisitions and commercial investment opportunities in China and the surrounding regions.
